The Brief

We worked on the user acquisition for Gameforge’s evergreen, free-to-play title SoulWorker for the worldwide market. SoulWorker is an anime-style free action massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Lion Games Studios from South Korea. Gameforge wanted to achieve a positive return on ad spend with Video Game Marketing whilst focused on user acquisition across the world for their own game launcher.





The Game Plan

In order to track and attribute campaigns to game downloads and in-game revenue with the Video Game Marketing, we installed the relevant pixels and also used custom link tracking to focus spend on best performing locations and channels, working closely with the Gameforge team to feedback on in-game revenue and usage data. We used Ad Networks, Twitter, Google Search and Facebook. We did the full media planning and buying for SoulWorker whilst optimising throughout.
