The Brief

We worked with Ovid Works on the add to wishlist campaign for their creepy and extraordinary PC game, Metamorphosis, in the US market. They wanted to achieve enough wishlist additions to get front page viewership on Steam, giving extra organic reach.





The Game Plan

We used the link referral technology on Twitter, Facebook and Reddit. The goal here was to capture audiences and access hard to reach audiences for this Franz Kafka inspired game. With this strategy, we targeted lots of different audiences:

  • including specific reddit communities
  • custom audiences based off of steam website visits
  • specialized Franz Kafka audiences

The Results

As a result, we generated high quality traffic – driving over 10k people to add the game to their wishlist. Furthermore helping Metamorphosis reach the 5th most popular upcoming game on Steam in the build-up to launch.
